Earth has got the shape of a sphere. Most of the earth (70%) is covered by water. There are seven contines: Asia, Africa, North America, South America, Antarctica, Europe, Australia.
Equator dives earth into two halves. Earth is the fifth biggest planet in the Solar system. The first photo of the Earth was taken in 1959. Jurij Gagarin was the first man who went into space and saw the Earth (1961 ).
